ID Analytics Names Matt McAluney Chief Executive Officer

McAluney’s Extensive Credit and Fraud Risk Management Expertise Will Help Company Continue to Innovate and Anticipate Client Needs

San Diego, Calif. – July 16, 2019 – ID Analytics, a Symantec company and leader in consumer risk management products and services, today announced Matt McAluney as its new chief executive officer. McAluney had led ID Analytics sales and service teams for more than five years and has helped drive the company’s strategy and revenue growth. In his new role as CEO, he will report to Nico Popp, senior vice president and general manager, information protection, at Symantec.

McAluney has spent the bulk of his career in the credit and fraud risk management industry as a general manager and sales leader. He served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Services for ID Analytics since 2014. Prior to joining the company, McAluney was the Vice President of Sales at Equifax where he led new client development, marketing partnerships and served as General Manager of a high growth market for Equifax’s personal information solutions business unit. In that role, he led strategy development, strategic planning, product development and marketing. Prior to Equifax, McAluney held sales and business development roles with Proficient Systems, Yodlee, Parametric Technologies, and Black and Decker. He holds an MBA from Emory University and a BBA from Loyola University.
