Access Identity Fraud Insight in Two New Ways
Once a company enrolls in the new ID Network® Membership program, they use a simple API to send ID Analytics encrypted identity elements such as name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, date of birth, and Social Security number (SSN) when available. This is done for any customer or prospect who is, for example, applying for new credit, insurance coverage or services, renewing an account or policy, requesting changes or access to personal or sensitive information or making a claim. This information can be sent either real time or in batch. ID Network Members also provide confirmed fraud information on a monthly basis.
ID Network Members obtain identity fraud risk insight in two ways:
- Members receive fraud attributes, which include information on confirmed frauds associated with the identity elements submitted, as well as velocity indicators on the use of the consumer’s identity and fraud-like characteristics of the consumer’s provided SSN, such as deceased, invalid or unissued.
- ID Analytics alerts consumers enrolled through their consumer partners to the transaction being evaluated (for example a new application) and the consumer has the ability to provide feedback if they are not the individual who initiated the transaction.
