Dr. Stephen Coggeshall Joins ID Analytics as Chief Technology Officer, Expands Analytics Team

R&D Capabilities Grow with the Hiring of Five New Scientists

SAN DIEGO, CA, November 8, 2005 — ID Analytics, Inc., the Identity Risk Management company, today announced that Stephen Coggeshall, Ph.D. has joined the Company as chief technology officer. Coggeshall has worked closely with ID Analytics and its executives since its inception and was instrumental in building the company's initial technical team and roadmap dating back to 2002.

The company also announced a significant expansion under Coggeshall, with key hires including Dr. Yinghua Lin, ID Analytics' new chief scientist. Coggeshall will continue the build out of the technical team and development of the company's Identity Risk Management solutions.

Dr. Allen Jost, who served as ID Analytics' chief technology officer since 2003, will continue to be a key part of ID Analytics' leadership team transitioning to the role of vice president of business strategy.

Steve's arrival allows Allen to turn more of his considerable talents toward shaping and furthering our business strategy. Another significant new hire to the analytics consulting and research and development team includes Dr. Yinghua Lin, chief scientist, who co-founded the Los Alamos Computational Group as chief technology officer. Most recently Lin worked for Morgan Stanley, where he was an executive director working in the areas of proprietary trading algorithms with stocks, derivatives, commodities and convertible bonds, and using Advanced Analytics for modeling and forecasting individual and portfolio behaviors. Lin was chief scientist at HNC Software (now Fair Isaac) in early 2000.

Prior to joining ID Analytics, Coggeshall was co-founder and CEO of the analytics consulting company Los Alamos Computational Group which worked primarily with Morgan Stanley. He later joined Morgan Stanley as an executive director, working in the areas of asset allocation, portfolio analysis, stock selection, proprietary derivatives trading and behavioral forecasts of investors and financial advisors. Prior to Los Alamos Computational Group, Coggeshall was group vice president of the technology development organization at HNC Software. Previously, Coggeshall was co-founder of Center for Adaptive Systems Applications (CASA) where he managed a consumer behavioral and portfolio modeling and analysis (CASA was purchased in 2000 by HNC Software) organization. Experience prior to CASA includes work in machine learning and adaptive computation; during this time Coggeshall led teams working with Citicorp, MasterCard and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) building applied solutions using advanced mathematical algorithms. He also spent 11 years at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the field of laser fusion. He holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering, masters degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Music and bachelors degrees in Math/Physics and Music, all from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and the University of Illinois.
