ID Analytics Promotes Ken Morton to VP, Global Sales and Appoints Simon Williams as General Manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa
SAN DIEGO, CA, December 22, 2004 – ID Analytics, Inc., the Identity Risk Management technology company, today announced the promotion of Ken Morton to vice president, global sales. Previously Morton served as vice president and general manager for Europe. ID Analytics also announced that Simon Williams has joined the company as general manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for ID Analytics Ltd., the UK subsidiary of ID Analytics, Inc., reporting to Morton.

As vice president of global sales, Morton oversees and directs worldwide sales efforts for ID Analytics' Identity Risk Management Solutions. In this new role, Morton has relocated from the UK to ID Analytics' headquarters in San Diego, CA. Shortly after joining the company, Morton launched ID Analytics' UK National Study on Identity Fraud--a far-reaching research initiative similar to the one completed in the United States in 2002--in which ID Analytics is co-investing with 14 leading UK-based companies. Prior to joining ID Analytics, Morton spent 20 years establishing operations and driving the expansion of software companies in Europe. Companies he worked with previously included Covigo (now Symbol Technologies, Inc.), E.piphany and Octane Software.
Simon Williams has general management responsibilities for the EMEA region, with an initial focus on building the UK business. He has nearly 20 years of experience working with software solutions for the financial services and telecommunications industries. Previous experience includes serving as senior vice president EMEA and APAC for Cerebrus Solutions, a fraud management system vendor. At Cerebrus, he was a key member of the executive team that successfully concluded the business 'spin out' from Nortel Networks. Earlier in his career Williams was the managing director for NIB Europe, a pioneering venture offering online credit verification solutions. He also worked as sales director for AT&T Easylink Services, providing messaging services to the finance industry. Williams earned a BA in Accountancy from Portsmouth, UK.
