ID Analytics Announces Speakers for Identity 2004, the Identity Risk Management Conference

Federal Trade Commissioner Mozelle Thompson to Keynote

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 6, 2004–ID Analytics, Inc., the Identity Risk Management technology company, today announced the initial line-up of speakers for Identity 2004, its annual symposium, which will be held September 21st through the 23rd at La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA. The Honorable Mozelle Thompson, Commissioner on the Federal Trade Commission, will provide the keynote address.

Featuring representatives from financial services, wireless, government and technology sectors, this year's conference will provide a broad perspective on identity fraud and related issues. Speakers and attendees alike will showcase the solutions and best practices that comprise Identity Risk Management — the science of managing identity risk across all customer events, from account opening through to collections.

"The real challenge with identity risk lies in balancing the risk against the need to provide high-quality service to legitimate customers," said Bruce Hansen, chairman and CEO of ID Analytics, Inc. "Our symposium is the conference where attendees can learn about identity fraud from multiple perspectives, and have a forum for talking about these issues with this wide variety of experts. We believe it's only through a multi-industry, holistic view that organizations can safeguard legitimate customers while avoiding financial losses."

Now in its third year, ID Analytics' conference has become the premier cross-industry gathering for professionals on the leading edge of identity fraud prevention. Some of the topics and confirmed speakers include:

"Staying Ahead of the Fraudster: Latest Trends in Fraud"

"Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act and Regulation at the State and Federal Level"

"Global Developments in Identity Fraud"

"Cutting Edge Technologies for Identity Risk Management"

"Fair Data Mining, Privacy and Successful Risk Management"

Speakers from ID Analytics include Dr. Allen Jost, chief technology officer, discussing the evolution of identity risk technologies; Mike Cook, vice president of products, who will address fraud rings and other organized scams and Steven Gal, vice president of corporate development, who will moderate the conference.

An early bird registration fee of $495 is available until July 15; after that date, registration is $695. The conference fee includes hosted meals and social events starting on September 21 at 6:30 p.m. with a Wine & Cheese opening reception, through lunch on September 23. Hotel fees are not included in the conference rate and reservations should be made directly with La Costa Resort & Spa (www.lacosta.com).
