June 11, 2012
SAN DIEGO, CA – ID Analytics, Inc., a leader in consumer risk management, announced today that Larry McIntosh has been appointed chief executive officer of the company.
For almost six years, McIntosh has served as the company’s chief marketing officer responsible for leading the company’s corporate strategy. In this role, he oversaw product management, marketing, privacy and government relations, and the company’s successful entry into new markets including credit risk, authentication and compliance, and consumer identity protection.
McIntosh also played a key role in the recent acquisition of ID Analytics by LifeLock, Inc., the leading provider of consumer identity theft protection. ID Analytics continues to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of LifeLock.
“Larry has been an important force behind the growth of ID Analytics, and will ensure that the company maintains its unique technical heritage and stature in the industry,” said Todd Davis, Chairman and CEO of LifeLock. “His experience and fresh perspective make him the ideal leader to foster an environment for innovation, and aggressively pursue new markets.”
McIntosh succeeded Bruce Hansen, the company’s co-founder, who has left to pursue interests outside of ID Analytics.
