ID Analytics Appoints Timothy Laughlin Chief Financial Officer

Former Leap Wireless Executive Brings More than Twenty Years of Financial Management Experience to Consumer Risk Management Company
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – ID Analytics®, Inc., a leader in consumer risk management, today announced Timothy Laughlin has joined the company as chief financial officer. Laughlin will work directly with ID Analytics CEO Larry McIntosh to set and manage the company’s financial strategy.
Laughlin joins ID Analytics from Leap Wireless, and its well-known Cricket Wireless consumer services brand, (both recently acquired by AT&T), where he served as acting treasurer. During his tenure, he played a key role in enabling the company’s dealer channel growth, led management of the company’s capital structure, and created the company’s credit and collections department. Laughlin also previously held the position of director of joint ventures and business development at Cricket Wireless. In that role he developed joint venture and investment opportunities that contributed significantly to the quadrupling of the company’s footprint.
Prior to Cricket Wireless, Laughlin was manager of settlement products for H&R Block. During his tenure at H&R Block, he was successful in driving growth of add-on financial products that represented tens of billions of dollars of payment processing volume, while simultaneously reducing bad debt and increasing profitability. Earlier in his career, Laughlin founded software startup FriendlyWorks, Inc. and held senior accounting positions at Arthur Anderson LLC. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and accountancy from Wake Forest University.
